Customers frequently have questions and concerns long after the elevator, stair lift, dumbwaiter, or wheelchair lift is installed, or part of a system may experience damage at some point in time. For addressing these needs, Nationwide Lifts offers Canada’s Best Warranty and 24/7 telephone support. Customers can reach us at any time for answers to questions, and parts and maintenance are supported by one of the most extensive warranties in the industry.

What The Warranty Entails

For all Nationwide Lifts Canada products, mechanical parts are backed by a 10-year warranty, electrical by a three-year warranty, and labour for a one-year warranty. Our support far surpasses competitors’, who offer one- to three-year warranties at best. If services are requested, warranty calls are performed during working hours of work days, with the exception of emergency situations and conditions, which are determined by Nationwide Lifts Canada.

Product Warranties start on the date the product is shipped from factory, and Labour Warranty on date installation is finished. The product must be paid in full for Nationwide Lifts to provide parts and service under warranty. All required warranty parts are shipped by UPS ground at Nationwide Lifts’ expense; air or expedited shipping are available upon request and at the owner’s expense.

Nationwide Lifts’ warranty applies solely to repairing or replacing defective parts and, after provided to the purchaser, is non-transferrable. The warranty, as well, does not cover labour charges for removal, repair, or replacement of parts one year after installation and applies solely to products installed and maintained by Nationwide Lifts. If, however, inspection and maintenance are not done by a Nationwide Lifts representative once every 12 months, the warranty is void. The owner is responsible for keeping full records of service.

Our Warranty Does Not Apply to the Following Aspects of All Systems:
  • Normal wear and tear, external forces, and/or misuse of batteries, painted/stained panels, glass, acrylic, gates, doors, upholstery, trim, and any other cosmetic components.
  • Malfunction or damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse or vandalism, lack of proper maintenance, neglect, improper adjustment, modification or alteration, structural condition of building or hoistway, overloading, or weather.

No individual or company is authorized to modify the design of a product or system without written approval from Nationwide Lifts. Nationwide Lifts is not responsible for any expenses or damages and is not liable for personal injury or property damage resulting from operating a modified product.
